Full-Time Web Development Manager

Job Description

This position is responsible for coordinating and actively participating in the ongoing development and maintenance of all Center for Learning and Teaching web content designed for both external faculty clients and internal staff. The position is also responsible for coordinating and actively participating in the development of the Office of Distance Learning’s Personal Learning Environment for faculty and students.

Candidates should have working knowledge of supervisory techniques for web development projects and software development projects. Working knowledge of project management for web development projects. Working knowledge of project management for software development projects. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills. Considerable skill in scripting or programming languages. Basic skill in web content and web site management. Basic skill in writing and editing for the web. Demonstrated ability for problem solving, attention to detail, and accuracy.

Candidates should also have considerable experience with the design, development, integration and management of web sites using the software engineering lifecycle and web content. Considerable experience with scripting and programming languages including PHP and JavaScript. Considerable experience in user interface development including the use of HTML and CSS, as well as, some experience supervising web development personnel. Salary for this position is commensurate with education & experience. Close Date is 12/02/2016.



Education: High School or Equiv.
Work Experience: 3-5 Years
