Full-Time Tech Support Analyst/HCIT

Job Description

The Technical Support Analyst will serve as the lead resource responsible for supporting information technology solutions, and providing dedicated technology assistance to the College of Medicine, College of Health Professions, and CMU’s clinical operations. In addition, this position will support the integrity of the computer systems, classroom technology and mobile device environment within the supported units.Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that equates to a bachelor’s degree.

Two years of experience (to include any of the following):

Desktop/laptop technology support, audio/video support, IT Help Desk.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint.
Current knowledge of Industry software and hardware technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to write documentation and training materials.
Ability to work independently and self-managing.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
