Full-Time Senior Associate Registrar

Reporting to the University Registrar, the Senior
Associate Registrar serves as a member of the Registrar’s
leadership team and leads the areas of student records,
graduation and commencement, degree audit, Veterans and
enrollment certifications, the Veterans Center,
transcripts, reverse credit transfer, and transfer credit
evaluation for continuing and reentry students. The
position is responsible for the processing of
approximately 136,000 grades, nearly 20,000 transcripts,
over 4,000 enrollment certifications, approximately 12,000
degree verifications, 600 plus Veteran certifications, and
the approval of approximately 6,000 students for
graduation each academic year. The Senior Associate
Registrar supervises a full-time staff of 16 and
coordinates staff training and development for the Office
of the Registrar team of 35. The position represents the
University on relevant state-wide committees and the
Office of the Registrar on numerous institutional
committees. As a member of the Registrar’s leadership
team, the Senior Associate Registrar serves a critical
role in meeting the department’s strategic goals and
initiatives resulting in new or improved student
information systems, programs, policies, processes, and

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree
and eight years of related experience, or a master’s
degree and six years of related experience, including
experience in a registrar’s office in a higher education
setting. In addition, the ideal candidate will have
demonstrated experience managing and supervising staff;
working with enterprise-wide student information systems;
querying, managing and generating reports from information
systems/databases; training and staff development;
implementing new and emerging technologies; and, project
