Tacoma Community College (TCC) is pleased to invite applications for State/Federal Work Study and Workforce
Education Program Coordinators. These positions will review and evaluate financial aid applications, determine financial need and package financial aid awards. The coordinators are responsible for coordinating placement within the work study programs and ensuring accurate utilization of funds and compliance with all regulations specific to each program. Minimum qualifications include high school graduation or equivalent, two years of full-time equivalent professional experience in financial aid including processing financial aid awards, employment, career services, coordinating work study contracts and placement, or closely related professional experience. An associate degree or higher may substitute for one year of experience, and intermediate word processing, database and spreadsheet skills.

Preferred qualifications include experience and understanding of financial aid eligibility requirements, experience reconciling accounts, using database systems, financial aid management systems, PeopleSoft applications, or reviewing and packaging financial aid applications. These are full-time classified positions scheduled to   work Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening hours will be required during the beginning of each quarter. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet the needs of the
department. The salary range is $2,602 to $3,369 per month. The College offers a generous benefits package to
