Full-Time Information Systems Specialist II – Help Desk Analyst

DESCRIPTION: The primary responsibility of this position is
to maintain and participate in an active Help Desk which
supports the academic and administrative IT multi-platform
needs of faculty, staff and students using strong customer
service and troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of
Intuit’s Track-IT helpdesk software, HTML, Microsoft Windows
OS and Active Directory, Macintosh computers, Apple XServe
and OS/iOS. Experience with Jenzabar’s EX and JICS ERP
software is desirable. Additionally, this position will
help train staff, faculty and students on equipment use and
software packages as well as Audio Visual setup for events
and meetings, and configuration and problem resolution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in Computer
Information Systems or similar discipline and at least 2
years of experience in customer service and/or helpdesk
operations. Experience may be substituted for education on
a year for year basis.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: A+, Network+, Apple and Microsoft
Certified Desktop Technician (MCDST)
