Job Description

Position Summary:

This position provides analysis and programming support for the PeopleSoft Enterprise ERP software which currently includes Campus Solutions 9.0, HR/Payroll 9.0, and Financials 9.0, in addition to other enterprise systems supporting the university. This position requires extensive contact with the end user as well as other IT team members.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Performs analysis to gain a thorough working knowledge of delivered PeopleSoft functionality to advise on the development of business processes around delivered PeopleSoft functionality.
2. Works with users to analyze current operational procedures, identifies problems, and consults with customer to define specific requirements, evaluates alternative solutions, and makes recommendations for action.
3. Designs, codes, tests, debug, documents, and maintain programs under minimal direction.
4. Reviews user and technical documentation to confirm consistency with program operations.
5. Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems or questions.
6. Trains end users or technical support staff to use and support the systems.
7. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Other Functions:
1. Support other university enterprise applications as required.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 2+ years related experience and/or training
Specific Skills: Technical PeopleSoft (or other ERP) knowledge/training is required; ability to write reports (Crystal and PeopleSoft Query); analysis and programming skills; knowledge of SQL, SQR, or PeopleTools is a plus; excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with end users successfully.

Specific Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications:
– PeopleSoft Campus Solutions experience is a plus
– PeopleSoft Human Resource (HCM) is a plus
– PeopleSoft Financials is a plus

– High Education experience is a plus
