Full-Time Director, Graduate Enrollment and Recruitment (12854)

Job Description

The Director, Graduate Enrollment & Recruitment is the lead staff member responsible for the recruitment and
communications functions of the Graduate Admissions team. The incumbent is responsible for designing and
implementing the overall recruitment and communication plan for the School of Public Affairs to meet graduate
enrollment targets.
The position directs web-based and in-person recruitment and conversion activities and manages the School’s on-
line enrollment management program (Recruiter) based communications with prospective students. The position is
responsible for evaluating communications strategy for the School’s graduate enrollment. The incumbent represents SPA at graduate fairs, attends graduate open houses, and works with the departments on recruitment of graduate students.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications.

Minimum Requirements:
Seven years’ work experience working with databases required, preferably in a university environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information
for a wide range of graduate programs and related career tracks Proven track record of developing and executing
communications and social media plans preferably in higher education Must be able to meet deadlines, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work well with others Willingness to learn other computer systems

Preferred Requirements:
Experience working with Datatel, Recruiter, and other enrollment management programs is a plus

Additional Information:
Must be able to travel and work some evenings and weekends. Hiring offers for this position are contingent on the
successful completion of a background check.
