Full-Time Business Systems Analyst – Finance & Human Resources and Student Services

Job Description

Tacoma Community College (TCC) is pleased to invite applications for two Business Systems Analyst Positions –
Finance & Human Resources and Student Services. These positions are responsible for providing a functional,
technical and business analysis role for the implementation and on-going support of the ctcLink (PeopleSoft)
administrative systems. Serves as the technical resource to all departments in the Finance, Human Resources, Campus
Services, and Student Services divisions acting as a resource and liaison between Information Technology (IT)
and the customer. Must be proficient and manage all aspects of the ctcLink Finance, Human Capital Management,
and Campus Solutions modules and work as a liaison among department staff and project stakeholders to elicit,
analyze, communicate, prioritize, clarify validate and document requirements for changes to business processes and
information systems in support of department and ctcLink objectives. This position collaborates with IT and subject
matter experts to develop query and reporting solutions within the ctcLink database. Provides a project and
organizational change management role within and between departments and provide training/job aids and knowledge
transfer to department staff where required.

Tacoma Community College is a comprehensive state-supported community college servicing more than 720,000 residents of the Tacoma-Pierce County area and enrolling approximately 18,000 students annually (6,000 FTE). The College’s
service district includes all of Tacoma and the Pierce County portion of the Olympic Peninsula and serves the
Tacoma and Peninsula school districts. TCC is one of 34 community and technical colleges in a statewide system.

supports a diverse and dynamic community of internal customers and external constituents by providing project
coordination, planning and ensuring successful completion of project goals and milestones.

Qualifications include an associate degree, five years of experience in a finance, human resources, or
college/university student services department and three years of technical and working experience providing
business analysis and systems support for a college administrative information system and/or ERP. Functional
leadership or SME experience in PeopleSoft’s Finance and Human Capital Management module including Hyperion and/or
PeopleSoft’s Query preferred. These are full-time, professional positions with a salary range of $75,000 to
$80,000 DOE/DOQ. Priority consideration date: June 20, 2016.
