Full-Time Budget Analyst (Staff Assistant)

Job Description

Provide administrative support to Budget Development Office
and the Division of Business & Finance. Formulate daily,
monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Track and analyze
revenue and expenses, assist in preparing bank statements,
perform account reconciliations, input budget information,
process journal transactions and expense moves. Manage
confidential information. Perform miscellaneous duties as
assigned. This is a temporary appointment with the
potential for annual renewal.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in Business or related
field required. Minimum two years of work experience
required, preferably in an accounting/financial
environment. Proficiency with financial analysis programs,
developing spreadsheets and Microsoft applications
(including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
Familiar with current accounting software packages and fund
accounting principles, a plus. Must have strong analytical
and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, be
project oriented, and work independently. Excellent verbal
and writing skills required. The successful candidate must
be authorized to work in the United States.
