Job Description

Position Summary:


This position is responsible for varsity athletics competition administration and overseeing event management as directed. This position is also responsible for event security for Football, Men’s Basketball and Women’s basketball, event management, facility management and for overseeing event staff.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Coordinates the varsity athletics competition event management as directed.
  • Assists with event management, as needed, for all other home varsity contests.
  • Oversees credential program for Football, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball.
  • Coordinates all outside group and non-competition events utilizing Athletics’ facilities.
  • Assists with the day-to-day facility needs.
  • Oversees parking needs and coordination for teams on day-to-day basis and when traveling to away competitions.
  • Coordinates staffing needs with UREC and the contracted security company.
  • Assists with Sport Camps & Clinics as assigned.
  • Oversees the staffing budgets for all Athletics contests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • One year of experience in facilities operations.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in Intercollegiate Athletics.
