Department: SDES-Housing and Residence Life


Job Description

Develops, organizes and maintains business procedures including and related to: contract review and compliance
for managed facility leases.

Compiles financial and other related reports related to management and facility lease agreements. lncluded, but not
limited to lncome Statements, Balance Sheets, Occupancy Reports.

Performs and documents lease, insurance, contract and agreement compliance reviews.

Reviews and comments on contracts and agreements involving Housing; acts as an advocate for Housing interests in inter-and intra-departmental memoranda of understanding or other agreements; advocates Housing’s interests in agreements with third parties.

Prepares supporting documentation and analysis, including financial analyses, related to recommendations of agreement acceptance / modification / rejection.

Responsible for the management, compliance, and oversight of facility lease and management agreements.

Responsible for interpreting facility lease and management agreements and insuring compliance with the terms and

Responsible for making recommendations and subsequent amendments to facility lease and management

Responsible for developing and managing contracts for all revenue bearing housing related services.

Responsible for acquiring and managing contracts for all housing related services.

Responsible for developing and managing memorandums of understanding for university partnerships.

Performs various other duties as required by the Associate Director, University Housing.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s
degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Business.

• 3+ years of accounting experience in financial reporting, billing, non-profit environment or public accounting.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CPA candidate.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to effectively interact with senior management and individuals with varying degrees of financial knowledge.

• Ability to effectively interact with internal and external partners regarding financial matters and contract

• Demonstrated proficiency with accounting and spread sheet software.

• PeopleSoft experience.
